Fashion icon Sarah Jessica Parker told In Touch she felt ?lucky? to be wearing her Alexander McQueen creation from fall 2005. ?It was a treat to borrow the dress. I was not allowed to sew it. It?s an archive piece so I was very fortunate it fit me,? says the star. Then she clarified that in order to really zipper the dress she had to ?suck it all in.?
The evening seemed bittersweet for Sarah Jessica who recalled attending the MET Costume Institute Gala with the late Alexander McQueen back in 2006. ?It was a wonderful night. I had his corsage in my lap waiting until we met. It was like prom,? she recalls. ?I am more so grateful for that memory which is vivid regardless of his passing but certainly more meaningful now.?
